About Me
[roi-uh]
Ethan Reue Berdofe was grown directly from the roots of Austin, Tx. He has been pushing the boundaries of underground electronic music from a very young age and has now grown to be one of the most progressive and influential minds on the scene in his hometown, and is known by his peers as a prodigy in the making. While learning the ropes Ethan has taken on and progressed his skills working with composition, bands, solo projects, and attendance at Berklee College of Music. With the decision to make “Reue” his main focus, he has started headlining shows in Boston, Seattle, and all over Central Texas. Having six songs featured on episode 38 of Mau5trap’s podcast, ”For Lack of a Better Radio Show”, a growing resume in video game composition and audio engineering with titles on Oculus Rift and Wolf Eye Studios, playing alongside Maceo Plex, on festivals like Lights All Night, SXSW, Ubbi Dubbi, and Illfest, and supporting many touring artists. With his debut EP “Acid Patch Kids” hitting #7 on Beatport’s techno charts, you can find Reue spreading Austin’s “weirdness” through his all hardware live shows, artist collective Oats & Honey, and his project to release 27 songs in a year.
